There is a sense in which we all live on autopilot. For example, in the way we brush our teeth, take our bath and wear our clothes...these activities are simply a product of instinctive thinking. a product of the engagement of our sub-conscious mind. Which involves little or no form of rationality.
But this should all end there.
In the handling of weightier matters of life like choosing a career, a spouse or one's life’s work, we must be more aware, more intentional & more strategic.
The challenge is, most people go through an entire lifetime without ever attaining a state of consciousness. They wake up every morning but sleep walk through the day, living other people's lives without ever finding their true self. They are everywhere (and you could even be one).
The takeaway is, a state of consciousness comes from the place of stillness (and stillness speaks).
